It is funny how little accountability is given to both the federal government, starting with the Clinton administration, who designed their regulations in a way to pressure banks to not deny anyone a right to homeownership, even if they couldn't afford it. The idea that government bureaucrats and politicians would be more competent and less corrupt running these institutions is simply nuts.

@manuellanthaler2001 100% of socialist states have failed: Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Cuba, North Korea. Capitalist systems have a much better success rate, especially when combined with Rule of Law, democracy, independent judiciary, free trade, and government fiscal responsibility. Sudan has none of the characteristics required to have a successful economy.

@manuellanthaler2001 If communism is so great, then why would these socialist countries be so dependent on trade with capitalist countries instead of the other way around? It is not like America collapsed after the Soviet Union put sanctions on the US.

@oliverastankovic7009 That is because unemployment was a crime in Communist states. For those who choose to beg and feed their addiction, the "nicer" communists sent you to jail, while "less nice" ones sent you to a penal colony.
