  1.  @phunkymonkiee  The state companies have large market share due government substities and a state-mandated preference to use CCP run companies, but they are still not very profitable. I wouldn't be surprised if state-managed investment funds won't be used to prop up poorly run state firms.

  3.  @longfield8978  They need permission from the party to leave their rural farms. If they move to the city, then the former farmers will not be allowed access to government benefits. The Communist Party ties people to the land like a modern-day serf.

  4. I wonder how it is managed. It may be a poor performer if the CCP invests in state companies that care more about political goals than profit.
