The funny thing is that the West will probably pivot to Africa in the upcoming decades as the world's economic and demographic driver.

@SeeLasSee It is not just about manufacturing. It is about have a middle class consumer market to sell to.

America left Iraq, and the Shiite started openly discriminating against Sunnis. The Sunnis then joined ISIS in retaliation, and then took over 20% of the country. Iraq then begged America to come back to push ISIS out of the country, and act as diplomatic between the ethic groups. Iraq and Lebanon can't form functioning governments, because Iran proxies keep destabilizing the countries.

@FlamingBasketballClub Because China is a mover in global politics. If Brazil or South Africa negotiated Iran and Saudi Arabia reopening up relations, then it would have been the topic.

@philoslother4602 China and India are having less children with economic growth, while African is somehow avoiding that trend. Also, China and India weren't the same economies 20 years ago, and I doubt African will look the same either.

@SeeLasSee Saudi Arabia drove most American frackers out of business in 2014 by boosting production, and they are keeping prices high now by cutting production.

The US, EU, and China are the globe's biggest players, so it makes sense for them to keep showing up. Why Argentina has so many videos....

@FlamingBasketballClub Does a American and European audience really want more American and European news? They get that from local media.

China is hardly energy or food independent.

Iran state sponsoring terrorist groups is what destabilized Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

Why? America has enough problems without getting roped to another Shiite-Sunni fight in the middle east.

Gulf Monarchies and Iran know a global recession is about to collapse the oil market, so they can't afford to be fighting proxy wars.

It strange how the Middle East can throw tantrums over French headscarf rules, while being silent on Chinese concentration camps of Muslims.
1
@NeostormXLMAX Yet China bulldozers Churches and sends Muslims to camps for praying too much or "looking too Muslim".

It doesn't matter where you source your oil, Saudi Arabia controls the price.

The Iran general was killed for supplying IEDs that killed thousands of American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians. Glad he is rotting in Hell.
