  34.  @bakurasplanet4502  Houston and Dallas almost always votes blue. The city is a concentration of poor urbanites who like Democrats giving them handouts. The vast majority of the population lives in the surrounding suburbs who vote overwhelmingly Republican.

Both polls and Democrats who lost their races say that the push towards socialism was to blame for Democrats poor election results. Most Americans believe in being rewarded for hardwork--which is the antithesis of socialism.
