@KevinP32270 Literally, the best thing Obama did for the economy was leave office. The day he left office, the stock market went up, unemployment went down, and average wages increased.

@KevinP32270 I don't dispute that Obama inherited an economic downturn. However, the economic growth that followed was painful slow due to Obama's anti-business laws and regulations. When Obama left and the threat of his anti-business executive orders gone, the stock market hit record highs and employment went to record lows. Even with Trump's impulsive trade wars, the market still performed better under Trump than Obama. It is also disingenuous to blame the economic effect of covid on Trump. There is literally no way to avoid an economic downturn when people are trapped in their homes.
