  2. Between segregation, WW2, military adventurism, Spanish flu censorship, and suspending civil liberties, there are plenty of failures of Wilson to make him the worst modern president. Nixon, Bush, and Trump all had very successful presidencies that got tarnished by scandals (Watergate, no WMDs in Iraq, post-election coup attempts). Obviously, you are just a progressive who is trying to elevate the image of democrats.

  4. "Product of the time" doesn't really apply because Wilson had the government reversed course on civil rights and constitutional limits.

  5. Is being remembered always a good thing? For example, a certain German chancellor who ruled in the 1940s is one of the most recognizable figures in history.

  6.  @JK-gu3tl  Obama is ranked highly on many lists mainly because his scandals were were minor and because nothing really happened under his watch. Being a lame duck was actually an accomplishment to these scholars.

  8. America really didn't care about democracies until after the cold war. The country was isolationist for most of its history and the cold war priorities were stopping communism instead of promoting democracy and human rights.

  9.  @JK-gu3tl  I'm not saying saying Obama was scandal free, but none of them are newsworthy as Monica Lewinsky, Iraq WMDs, or January 6th. Bubble? The economy stagnated under Obama.
