@John C. Smith To denazify, I would recommend starting with the fascists in Russia who are sending troops into a sovereign democracy based on Russians' feeling of ethnic superiority.

Russia is trying to gaslight that the bridges are undamaged. Do they know the milblogers can just buy Chinese satellite photos?
28
@randomdude2832 So Russia's plan was to park a convoy of tanks and troop on a highway outside of Kiev in hope that the Ukrainians will use up their ammunition attacking the sitting ducks? Sounds like a dumb plan.
21
43 Heads of States attended last year, while only 17 attended this year. Only Russians would see visiting deputy diplomats as an accomplishment instead of an obvious snub.
21
@davidmiller5028 The Russians can't even tell the difference between a tank and a tractor
17
If he cared about affordable housing, then he would live in an apartment instead of owning three homes.
12
It is also the Saudis' duty to protect pilgrims, so some restrictions on travel are needed to to make sure the crowds aren't dangerously large or there is enough available hotels for pilgrims.
11
Who cares what Hillary Clinton has to say?
9
Russia trying to recreate its air campaign in Syria where it crushed the civilian population's will to fight. However, the difference is that Syrian fighters lost hope because they didn't have the ability to fight back. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army is ready to advance against Russian lines.
9
@anonymousone6075 They literally show a video of Russia bombing civilians with cluster munitions
9
İbrahim Moncada How is Russia supposed to take Odessa when they can't even keep their own flag ship from sinking? Ukraine claims they sank it with a missle, while Russia claims they sank it themselves due to their own incompetence. Either way, Russia seems unable to accomplish anything beyond 40 miles from the Russian or Crimean border.
9
Another "Brit" with an IP in St Petersburg.
9
And large American corporations took advantage of economy of scale to beat smaller companies in Europe and Asia.
8
What happens to a Abram that drives over a minefield? Pretty much the same thing that happens to any tank that drives over a minefield.
7
Using cluster munitions to clear a path through a minefield isn't going to make the field more dangerous.
6
If Bernie Sanders believed in half of what he says, then he wouldn't be getting rich selling a $30+ book on Amazon.
6
The only thing left is long range rockets, advance drones, and fighter jets. Fighters seem unlikely due their incredible costs, training requirement, maintenance requirements, and the ability for Russian air defenses to shoot them down.
5
Different objectives. The Allies wanted to capture Germany, while Ukraine just wants Russia to leave their country.
5
Jerry Naylor The difference is that Ukraine has been preparing for war since 2014. Belarus has only been putting resources towards state security to further suppress dissent. I also imagine their military has the same corruption issues as Russia's military.
5
As time goes on, this may be Russia's advantage as Russia focuses on the East and South where there are less logical issues. The Russian sieges and the distance from the Poland border may give Ukraine logical issues as they use use up their arms. I hope Ukraine has a good plan, because I doubt Putin will sue for peace.
4
Putin's objectives when he started: -Annex the entire Ukrainian coast and the entire Donbas -Dismantle the Ukrainian military -Remove the democraticly elected president to replace with a puppet autocrat -Prevent the expansion of NATO Russia only partly achieved the imperial objective to claim territory and they had to sacrifice Russian territory to do so.
4
@Grokku.61 They don't have many to give.
4
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke
4
Didn't Putin say he wasn't going to invade Ukraine....and then he invaded Ukraine?
4
The court and legislators are separate organizations
3
A Russian jet would probably crash into it.
3
Many of the Western Ukraine war commentators tend to be Ukrainian cheerleader more than analyst. I believe people just find Clarke's ability to comment on Ukrainian headwinds along with triumphs as a refreshing source of credibility. Russian trolls just don't like him debunking their nonsensical lies.
3
Start with banning TikTok
3
@milana-mrga Probably not enough, but it wouldn't be insignificant alongside other armored support.
3
It is a fancy way to say strategic retreat.
3
To be fair, Israeli leadership keeps saying protecting civilians isn't a priority. They also seem to make little distinction between Palestinians and Hamas.
2
WHO is in trouble for questioning their Chinese overlords.
2
@nekko5778 Source: The same Russian media that says Prigozhin died in a plane "accident"
2
@themanwiththegoldengun1998 It's on video, and Russian made dud bomblets are found all across Ukrainian cities.
2
Learned that mines and artillery suck.
2
I thought Western Europe would have abandoned Ukraine by now. I'm glad i have been proven wrong.
2
@SrdjanBasaric-w2s None. Most of the Kurdish oil is sold to the Assad government.
2
NATO needs a clone army.
2
There aren't enough Gripens to be worth talking about. *Sweden still needs them as they have yet to join the NATO umbrella. *Hungary is a big supporter of Vladimir Putin and his fascist ideology, so they aren't going to send their stockpile. *Brazil's new president seems to be more aligned with the authoritarian socialism of Venezuela and Cuba, then with democratic Ukraine. *South Africa has aligned itself with the Russian war effort *Czech Republic doesn't have enough jets to spare
2
Your worst nightmare is drones from freedom fighters?
2
Those drones blowing the refineries are Ukrainian built.
2
@davidmccann9811 The opposite. If the capital had fallen, the Russians would have shifted forces to other parts of Ukraine. The fighters in Mariupol know the same would happen there, so the Ukrainians are fighting hard to defend rubble to keep the Russians from moving to new fronts.
2
The area of breakthrough is going to be small and concentrated. Quality will be important.
2
Bell is a good analyst
2
After retreating from Keiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv, the Russians are due for a win -- even if it is just a small town of rubble.
2
I pretty sure if Abrams are behind the defense line, Russia's famous artillery is going to try to run as quickly as possible.
2
They said 2 dead. 10 wounded.
2
That is because he was only posting what the GRU (Russian military intelligence) gave him. He is Russian asset pretending to be a journalist.
2
Thanks to the propaganda, the Russians still see themselves as liberators.
2
The Russian asset should be in jail for exposing Afghan informants on Wikileaks who were then tracked down and murdered by the Taliban. There is blood of good, brave people on his hands and he deserves to suffer for it.
