  1. As time goes on, this may be Russia's advantage as Russia focuses on the East and South where there are less logical issues. The Russian sieges and the distance from the Poland border may give Ukraine logical issues as they use use up their arms. I hope Ukraine has a good plan, because I doubt Putin will sue for peace.

  3.  @davidmccann9811  The opposite. If the capital had fallen, the Russians would have shifted forces to other parts of Ukraine. The fighters in Mariupol know the same would happen there, so the Ukrainians are fighting hard to defend rubble to keep the Russians from moving to new fronts.
