If Washington DC and New York City can't take care of these migrants, then what makes you think these small towns in Texas can handle populations over 6 times the size? Democrats don't really care about these people, because they would welcome them if they did.

These small Texas towns don't have the resources for these thousands of migrants. Obviously, it is better for these gaint cities to take care of a fraction of these migrants instead.

@erinaustin2157 In May alone, Biden invited over 100,000 migrants (which is a bigger population than many of these towns). Meanwhile, New York City with a population of almost 9 million is having a meltdown over about 4,000 migrants. If you still don't understand the issue at the border, then you need to relearn how numbers work.

The cost on these small towns is significantly greater than cost of a bus ticket. Democrats prefer the economic burden to be on Texas small towns instead of shared among cities of millions.

@LVLexus You're right, it cost less than a bus ticket, because the state already owns the busses for emergency evacuations. Meanwhile, it costs Texas and local taxpayers about $11 billion to take care all of these illegals. The east coast should show they care by sharing the costs.
