  2. Its not serious because NY is trying to prosecute a state misdemeanor as a felony based on the allegation that Trump committed a federal crime that he wasn't prosecuted for. This would be different if the DoJ charged him, but Brags is stretching the law to make himself relevant.

  5.  @bcbock  Cohen got prosecuted for breaking a federal felony. Trump is being prosecuted for a state misdemeanor that NY is trying to elevate to a felony based on the allegation that Trump broke a federal law that the DoJ never prosecuted him for. Compared to Trump's other cases, this one is absurd.
