He was 14 years old. I hope I'm not permanently judged for my actions at that age. Most millennials were at that age were using the term "fag" and "gays" as insults. Should we cancel that generation too?

@m.lewizz3297 Your assumption that Jones' views are unchanged since the 1950s seems to based solely on your own prejudice instead of any actual facts. Viewpoints change all the time. Just look at how within a decade how a majority of Americans opposed gay marriage to having the public overwhelmingly support it.

@6971robi Jerry Jones is 80 and it seems ridiculous to demonize him for something he did as a child. Most people's prejudices are based on ignorance and many will change through the decades. While you think people should be permanently labeled for their misdeads as a child, most people grow up to be embarrassed by passed actions. Just look at how Obama and Democrats so easily dismissed all the past racist statements from Biden. Why shouldn't Jones also get the same benefit?

Robert Byrd, a former Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan, saying he was “one of my mentors” and that “the Senate is a lesser place for his going.” Way back in 1977, Biden said that forced busing to desegregate schools would cause his children to “grow up in a racial jungle.” Meanwhile, Jerry Jones is racist because he owns a football team with millionaire African American employees? Double standard
