  2. This is how Greece had an economic collapse in 2008. The left wing party gave all these benefits that they couldn't pay for and once the benefits were in place, they couldn't be removed. All the deficit spending eventually caught up to them. Progressives in America want to continue to spend trillion on trillion year after year, because they stupidly believe they can avoid the economic collapse by printing money.

  3.  @malachiallenel8897  You're right. This could never happen in the United States like Greece, because America has never had a recession 🙄. This isn't about socialism. This is about fiscal responsibility. For example, Germany has a rather large government safety net, but they are actually willing to pay for it with taxes from the bottom up. American progressives don't actually want to raise taxes, but want to spend infinitely through debt and money printing. This is the economics of Argentina and Venezuela.
