Because he doubts himself on the topic. It's one of the few things he'll refuse to debate and will cause him to act like a lefty about, there are few remnants of early '00 liberalism peppering his brain and it pops up from time to time, it's really cringey to watch when he wades into territory that you know he hasn't really critically thought too hard about in many years. He'll regress to "well it's just what I believe", like it's some sort of religious tenant of his or some shit. Even if you give him every reason there is as to why it's so morally fucked up both to kill babies out of irresponsibility + forcing tax payers to pay for it, that ultimately ends up being his excuse. lol

7:05 nah lets go one step further and just not make it a federally funded service at all, don't have to make it illegal but there's no reason the feds need to be involved with Planned Parenthood AT ALL, I don't get to pick and choose what taxes I WANT to pay otherwise why not make an entire spreadsheet of checkmarks of things I find to be worthy of my tax dollars, nevermind the logistics of something that goofy. If these people want to they can donate their money to planned parenthood themselves (they won't lol), the only reason they don't want to take it off of government subsidies is because they know like the rest of us know that the private sector couldn't support abortions without some sort of real activism behind it, emphasis on REAL activism. None of these pro-choice people will opt to donate if given the option.
