  1. This is nothing new, no matter how big or small a win is for the democrats they're ALWAYS going to pretend like they just raised the flag on Iwo Jima every single time it happens. It's weird though that people just forget that we've won so many more positions since 2016 than they have. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that those positions were lost, Virginia has been screwed for quite some time now, and Chris Christie just generally hates himself and was nothing but a PR nightmare, doesn't even matter how good or bad a governor he was, he kept handing the left ammunition and LARPed as if he was the Teflon Don himself, he just did really stupid shit far too often to actually defend him.
