This is the first sensible and balanced comment posted to this video. I hope your family's hurt feelings are temporary. πππ

You don't have to watch it...π€

I think people who are forced to migrate to other countries because of war, famine, political unrest etc. appreciate what those countries have to offer more than people who are born there. Your opinions are unusual in that you don't take the nationalistic view like so many ex-pats do. I'm in Australia and we have many peoples from the former Yugoslavia living here. Fortunately, apart from a few minor incidents, the people who have migrated here choose not to bring their grievances with them whether they are Serbian, Croatian or whatever.

I know...CNN commentary is such garbage!

Seems to me it's the younger generations who have been indoctrinated over the last 35 years. If you had told someone 35 years ago that a biological male can be a woman because he feels like it you would have been laughed out of town.

You obviously don't pay any attention to who does all the rioting, looting, blockading and threatening fellow citizens for having a different opinion. It's not Trump supporters. The behaviour of Trump opponents (both civilian and politicians) since his election in 2016 is straight from the Fascist text book. You need to read up on your history a bit more.

I think that would come under "cruel and unusual punishment"...don't you...?

Sorry to break it to you, but long after your gone and anything you have ever said or done in your life is forgotten, President Putin will still be an important historical figure of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Hopefully in 2024 with the re-election of President Trump!

How arrogant of you to suggest your father was brainwashed! Did you stop to think maybe your father's life-time of travelling the world, experiencing other cultures and gaining knowledge and life experiences enabled him to make an informed opinion on President Trump and his policies?

Not good...π

"We just suddenly started losing people to Fox News...". You make it sound like they are victims of the pandemic! Grow up!
1
Do you realise how ridiculous you sound..."I lost my father to MAGA..."??? Is he dead? If you are too precious to have a relationship with someone because of differing political opinions that's your fault, no-one elses! Grow up! π

You have a lot of issues...π€ͺ

Β @paulchulla5701Β Yes...I can tell I am in the presence of a huge intellect of unfathomable proportions. I don't know what came over me when I tried to grasp the meaning of your words. Please forgive me for being so presumptuous.

He got more votes than any sitting president in history and also do you really see a bright spark shining when President Biden is thrown a question...?
1
I'll guarantee you believed the Russia collusion hoax that CNN and others pushed constantly for 2 years and you have the audacity to accuse others of being easily manipulated? Unbelievable...π
1
For what reason would the West need to divide up Slavic peoples...? π€

I know...I still can't believe they voted for Biden...!

The only zombie is your dementia afflicted president who has to be guided to the podium and given cue cards to read every time he speaks in public! Sad...π

Latvians, like Ukrainians, minimise to the point of outright denying their atrocious behaviour towards their own citizens in WW2. Both countries also had their own SS affiliated para-military units that rounded up, brutalised and executed hundreds of thousands of Jews, partisans and others.

Β @rudolf5792Β Many comments here are from people in European countries saying how horrible Russians are because of the war in Ukraine. They seem to be ignoring or forgetting historical events that are still within the living memory of thousands of people alive today. The actions of the Russian military, including the war crimes that have been committed, are mild in comparison to actions taken by Ukrainians and Latvians during WW2. Russia has been invaded multiple times over the past few hundred years by the Mongols, the Poles, the Swedes, the French, the Germans (twice). Each time defeating the invaders by their own efforts. It is understandable they have a siege mentality to the outside world. President Putin repeatedly warned NATO not to expand closer to Russia thereby taking away the buffer zone it had before the Soviet Union fragmented. Was is really surprising when Putin sent the military into Western Ukraine? How my comments relate to events of today is summed up in the much used statement "those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
1
Β @ellebelle8515Β Everything you say is accurate but people seem to be forgetting that thousands of Russians took to the streets to protest the war in Ukraine, resulting in hundreds of people being arrested in a brutal suppression of anti-war sentiment. To suggest that all Russians are brainwashed lemmings blindly following their leader off a cliff because of propaganda is ignorant and in itself a form of biased disinformation spread to foment resentment against Russia and its people.

Putin hasn't killed millions of people! Stop being hysterical! π

Β @RobFomenkoΒ My point is you live in the country that has by far the most freedom of any country in the world when it comes to expression of speech and ideas. Fox News is just one media outlet amongst the hundreds readily accessible to most people. There is no compulsion to watch it. If people choose to watch it then it is not propaganda. Trump opponents still have not learnt from the 2016 election, where basically half the country was written off as racists, bigots and people of lower IQ than their political opponents. It's always picking the low-hanging fruit to use Nazi Germany as an example in this sort of discussion (like so many of these comments have), but it is important to remember that 21 of the high ranking Nazis tried at Nuremberg had an average IQ of 128 (average IQ is 100) with Herman Goering tested at 138. Just because someone has a different opinion to you does not mean you are smarter than them or that they are more easily manipulated than you.

Yes, I can see how you could think a commentator on a cable news show in a democratic country is the same as an unelected dictator...how astute of you. π
1
You are living in a bubble Dude. It's not conservatives who protest and riot at universities because someone they don't agree with is giving a lecture. It's not conservatives who want "safe spaces" from different opinions. It's not conservatives who try to ban people from social media. Stop smoking dope...it will help you think more clearly. π₯΄

Drug cartels, human trafficking and one of the highest murder rates in the world...send me a postcard...π

You should go and live in Russia because you obviously hate democracy. TWICE the British people had to vote for Brexit in overwhelming numbers to get their elected politicians to do their bidding. Apparently, (according to your logic), the majority of the country is close-minded and stupid because they don't agree with you. Get over yourself! π
1
What...?
1
βΒ @nsbd90nowΒ The Democrats are the ones constantly talking about skin colour...not the Republicans. And you obviously have no idea what real Fascism is...
1
Who is Gerkin...?
1
Well, Putin has been warning them for years...
1
Did you fact check 2 years of every mainstream media outlet pushing the Russian collusion story...?
1
Really? The way Trudeau stomps on the rights of Canadian citizens and you can't relate...? π€
1
That's like flipping back and forth between Fox News and CNN. Same story, same footage, same information...completely different interpretation and commentary...it is both bizarre and entertaining at the same time.
1
You can swap one marxist dictator for another...
1
Also, the greatest president ever produced! π
1
Yeah, right! Because Democrat supporters acted so calm after President Trump was elected in 2016 huh? Unbelievable...π
