  2.  @monicaabboud  Okay. The most obvious point is German Jews did not massacre, rape, torture, and kidnap German men, woman and children before Kristallnacht, thereby forcing the German army to conduct a military operation to rescue hostages and take preventative action to eliminate a serious threat to German society as a whole. German Jews were as much a part of German society as any other specific group and had done nothing to warrant the pogrom perpetrated against them on Krisrallnacht. German Jews were not warned in advance of the attacks that were about to happen to enable them to get out of harms way. German Jews were not aligned with a terrorist group whose stated purpose was to drive German citizens out Germany and exterminate them across the world. German Jews did not hide weapons and ammunition; to be used for the purpose of killing Germans, in their synagogues, businesses, hospitals and homes. The actions of the soldier in the video destroying a few items of merchandise in a shop have been condemned by Israeli officials. But let's get real here, this isn't some major war-crime. It is a bit of immature behaviour by a young soldier forced into a war he probably doesn't want to be in. He has probably seen comrades killed and wounded in action and was venting some frustration in a relatively harmless way. This type of behaviour has always occurred and will always occur in war. Worse acts of vandalism happen in day to day society. This is insignificant. To compare it to the scale and severity of the events of Kristallnacht shows a total lack of historical understanding and perspective on your part.
