What's not credible? The Iron Dome system uses radar to calculate the trajectory of incoming rockets and missiles. It can determine where one is likely to land and therefore doesn't waste Iron Dome missile trying to intercept enemy missiles that would otherwise fall harmlessly.

@abeedujana415 That's a very subjective point of view. I don't agree at all Hamas have put the IDF to shame. I think the IDF losses are incredibly low considering the urban environment they are fighting in, and the fact that they are obviously trying to avoid killing civilians. If it was Israel's intention to cause as many casualties as possible, I think you would have to be BLIND not to know the death-toll by now would be in the hundreds of thousands, not under 30'000.

@marietheresa7866 The Iron Dome system calculates the trajectory of incoming rockets and missiles and only attempts to intercept the ones deemed to be a threat to people or infrastructure. This avoids wasting Iron Dome missiles on enemy missiles that would otherwise fall harmlessly. It shouldn't be that hard to "wrap your head around". 🙄

@chesterjackson666 It's called "radar". It was being used in over 80 years ago in WW2 to anticipate incoming aircraft. But instead of people making calculations of direction of travel and possible targets as they did then, there is now an amazing invention called "computers" that can do things millions of times faster than the human brain. Hence, it is not a difficult process to calculate the trajectory of missiles and rockets. It's very easy to access information about how the Iron Dome system works, but you are probably not interested in actually learning something that might mean you have to admit you are wrong and appear less ignorant when you make a comment. 😉
