  2. 5:45 we do the same thing in typescript, except we usually don’t create a function for the assertion, we just write a statement such as “should_never: Never = state”. Would this alone be enough for mypy (ie no need to throw assertion error)

  4. U wouldn’t really write the currying logic from scratch. You’d use a library. You’d typically use it to compose your dependencies when you do dependency injection without classes
