  1. I guess the Western banks could no longer finance the PGI after their bankers gambled and lost all the deposits, and they know the Western governments are probably not going to bail them out with tax payers' money again like they did in 2008. Most average Western citizens have little savings and the US/West can't tap into the Chinese deposits sector though they've tried very hard over the past years.
