  1. Ireland's stance is indeed very one-sided. For example, they remember the UNIFIL members killed by some shady allies of Israel, but not the much more recent incident (2014) when Israel directly saved the lives of Irish UNDOF troops in Syria from Islamic extremists. I seriously doubt that many Irish people have even heard of this. Israel shouldn't wait for Ireland to expel its ambassador – it should just recall her.
