  1. Why would the knowledge that a house was built by somebody who entered the country illegally be of any particular interest or importance? Also, try using a noun when referring to illegal *immigrants*. They are people, not characteristics.

The question I was asking was not so much why would it be of any interest "full stop", but why would it knowing that a building was built by illegal immigrants be of much interest as opposed to knowing that it was built by slaves? I was posing the question to challenge MidNite on his claim that such information would be of equal value to the public. Maybe some people would want to know, but it hardly compares to the slavery memorial. I also think you've misinterpreted my stance on this.
