  1. Interesting to hear her take on the terms liberal and progressive. It's nice to hear someone not being bound by the language magic that's been systematically sullying such terms for decades - she doesn't like the term liberal but it's not because it's too left, it's because it's not left enough. We can be so heavily influenced by negative associations but fortunately it doesn't take a whole lot to create new associations - it just takes individuals embracing the terms defiantly.
