  2. For everyone saying "Why not make new characters", like this somehow makes changing the appearance of an older character problematic - which it isn't, you'll get used to the arbitrary cosmetic changes and if you don't then I'll be laughing at how pathetic you are - established franchises/IPs get made, original ideas get vetoed. That's it. Try going to Hollywood and saying "Hollywood, I'd like you to fund my film for NewMan - a dynamic new superhero who's black" Hollywood: Fewer people will pay to see a superhero film for a protagonist nobody's heard of. Also he's black which means we suspect he'll be viewed as 'An ethnic superhero for ethnic minorities. You: Okay well how about we make DareDevil 17 and this time he's black. That way people are already invested in the franchise and they'll know it's aimed at everybody. Hollywood: But won't some white people bitch about no longer having 100% of everything? You: Fuck those people Hollywood: Let's do this..........thing. You are pathetic beyond belief. Non white people are finally represented and you cunts think you're being hard done by - you (who are pissed off by this) are the most pathetic demographic on the planet. It's SO refreshing to see that Marvel is saying "Let them throw their fits, they can get used to it or they can boycot it because the protagonist's black." So go ahead and boycot these films because the protagonist's black. See racism isn't "when other people burn crosses", it's *YOU*. Don't go around calling yourself liberal or progressive when you "just want to keep white characters white....and keep on presenting non-white characters as white. Is wanting everything I know and love to be white such a bad thing?" Yes it is, you self deluded racist cunts.
