  1. I've done that a lot of time. I don't think of it as sampling music, I just get the music that way if I'm not already a fan of the artist and if I'm impressed with their work then I buy their CD. The only exception is long established bands from the 60s, 70s, or 80s who have been rich for a long long time already - I should still buy their stuff but I won't spend what little I have to add to their pool of wealth.
