This pledge is disgusting really, here's why: "Remain a virgin for as long as possible because I view sex as tainted and I want to carry on viewing you as pure and wonderful for as long as I can" The answer isn't to try to make the kids avoid sex, the answer is to analyse your perception of sex. It's unfortunate that I was brought up the same way, sex wasn't outright shunned, just referred to as naughty enough that I saw it as decadent. It's not losing your innocence, sex is not shameful.

  5. The problem is there are so many gaps that we're having to fill in ourselves. It was Ana who added the part about him skipping the foreplay (although she did e-mail her so that may account for that) but that contradicted the part where she had one night stands with semi-random men (that part we only know from Cenk's exaggerated account though) - that gave me the impression that she wasn't turned on by her husband. We really can't judge this properly, there's far too much missing.

  7. Heavy petting! I love it - haven't heard that phrase since I went swimming as a kid, I didn't know people actually used it. So light petting is for dogs and goats but heavy petting is for your partner, interesting (I'll leave the zoophilia jokes to somebody else).
