  3. I didn't read enough of your exchange. I agree with your (and LoneWolf's) position, that the classifications are ambiguous and that all that matters is that we understand what ourselves and other people mean. I think labels are a bad idea, generally speaking anyway. If I'd have identified too much with 'agnostic atheist' then I wouldn't have been able to move past that to my new understanding of these matters, which can't be summarised in any one word.

  4. Somebody outlined it to me this way: There are two separate questions. One is "do you believe in a creator?" to which the atheist would reply "no" and the agnostic also "no". The second question is "is there a creator" to which the atheist replies "no" and the agnostic "I don't know".
