He's saying "if gay people don't want to face hostility, they should be born in countries such as England or the United States. Simple". Is he not merciful?

You can't blame anyone for their urges to do anything. You can blame people for doing anything harmful and therefore immoral. If homosexuality (not harm therefore not immoral) is so bad then why is it that you can't argue against homosexuality itself? Why must you and others always bring up other sexual preferences? If I wanted to argue against bananas, I'd explain how bananas are terrible - not say "bananas are like pineapples and pears - aren't pineapples and pears terrible?"

And everybody will never be gay. Straight people are never going to become gay, whether homosexuality is shunned or tolerated. If I believed in the notion of God you believe in, I wouldn't be so certain of what He created us to do - how would you know, after all? The Bible was written (or spoken, originally) by man, that's without considering the countless rewritings, revisions, and translations it's undergone.

You haven't read what I wrote properly, if you had then you wouldn't have written "can blame pedophiles for being pedophiles". I said "you can't blame anyone for their urges to do anything". But yes you can blame people for *doing* something if it's harmful and thus immoral. People can help it - people who struggle not to should be helped, not hated and ostracised. However, this has nothing to do with homosexuality because that's not harmful. Morality to me is based around the causing of harm.

That didn't work in any way whatsover - I don't think you typed it properly, though even if you had it still wouldn't have worked in any way.
