  1. My guess is that they don't intend or expect to get so drunk that they pass out. Most of us learn our limits by finding out that we've gone too far - I did that at 14 and puked more than I've ever done in my life but didn't pass out.

  4. Note to those saying "don't pass out around rapists": Teenagers *do not intend* to pass out. They *do not intend* to get as drunk as they get. "They should know their limits" you may ignorantly say and to that I say "This is WHEN they learn their limit!". We learn how much we can comfortably drink by going over the line and usually being sick. Alcohol creeps up on you and you discover you've overdone it *when it's too late*. Fuck this "drink too much, get raped" mentality.
