  1. If you draw a line on the price of oil BEFORE Putin's failed bid for greatness, it extrapolates through to the current price. Not seeing a reason for $50 go juice. Willing to listen and know you are smart! Liked your comments on T Bonds sucking off alternative investments. I like USAC, FLNG, and KNOP for the dividends.   3. This struck me as odd as well. I don't see 3% or 4% T-bills pulling investment away from the oils. Maybe there's fear of a Windfall Tax?

  4. Put 10 economists in a room and you get 11 opinions. If it weren't for the Nobel Prize, Economics as a science would have gone the way of tea leaves and the Ouija Board. Not saying it doesn't make sense to think the economy about but when humans watch and know the prediction, well it's Heisenberg Uncertainty.

  5. If politicians could really control the price of oil, the inflation rate, or recessions, they would stay in office for many years. They can't and they don't.

  6. Who can Russia sell to? Jake mentions that delivery to China lacks infrastructure so requires ships. Also, will China face no consequences from breaking the embargo?
