  8. China's remarks are incredibly rational. We know Ukraine is going to cleanse its territory and China could send some money to Ukraine and be on, and I hate this phrase, "the right side of history." More importantly, China needs to keep those peasants working to make my stuff. Their improved standard of living depends on Americans like me. But they should be treated well. China's dropping birth rate suggests that workers should be protected from workplace injuries and valued as persons.

  18. I have sent way more money to Ukraine than I ever did to American politicians. OK maybe I'm a bad American but I care more about the Ukrainians than I do about politics. I do hope that politicians see our contributions and "get it." Money is the language they understand. What's right and wrong, not so much. They're politicians or as P. J. O'Rourke noted in the title of his hilarious book, A Parliament of Whores.
