America has been trying to exert pressure on the Venezuelan dictators with controls on purchasing oil, first sanctions by Trump in 2017, then a limited sanctions reprieve in January 2023 then reversing that in April 2024 when Maduro didn't keep his word to have free elections.

  17. DNC Did Not Condone bernie. Decided to Not have a Contest for the candidacy. I could go on about the attack on our democracy when Biden ignored the Supreme Court to pay off student loans but not sure what that would spell.
