  5.  @stuartstuart866  you don't know this, but at 20 week ultrasounds some women get the heartbreaking news that their fetus doesn't have a particular organ needed to sustain life. These are devastating circumstances and they do happen. Please watch Mama Dr Jones (board certified OB/GYN) videos right here on YouTube. She teaches about the many horrible medical complications which can arise during pregnancy.

The fact that you think it's rare tells me you really know very little about this subject.Medical complications happen often.. sometimes with the pregnant woman or pregnant girl..sometimes with the fetus. The problem is you and many people don't know. Type in Mama Dr Jones Roe v Wade. It's an incredibly informative video.

If a woman's 2 year old daughter needed a kidney to survive, the woman cannot be forced to give up her kidney to save her child. So she can't be forced to give up her uterus for a fetus to use her as a host. Women don't owe their bodies to anyone. #bodilyautonomy

  13.  @stuartstuart866  Roe v. Wade was about abortion up to viability. That's not an exact number of weeks as every pregnancy is different. Every fetus is different. Most OB/GYNs and medical organizations describe viability somewhere around 24-28 weeks. If it makes you feel any better, about 91% of abortion happens prior to week 13. The remaining 9% involve one of many different abnormalities with the fetus or a severe medical condition with the pregnant woman or girl. A woman needs the ability to terminate a pregnancy to save her own life. It's not so simple as calling an ambulance. A woman can have cancer and need to continue treatment to keep herself alive. A fetus at 20 weeks can show up on an ultrasound without a brain, or without another life-sustaining organ. I could go on, but this is why doctors who specialize make these decisions. #AbortionIsHealthcare

  39. There's a genetic predisposition. It's definitely not a choice when genes have been found to predipose people to alcoholism. Everyone's brain reacts differently to substances of all kinds. Obviously the choice is how a person deals with the predisposition. Just like diabetes, for example.

  44. Not true. I've read his book. It's excellent. He's talking about the neuroscience of addiction, the fact that people are either genetically predisposed to alcoholism, or not. But he does take responsibility. In his book he says many times that it's his responsibility to avoid the first drink. RIP Matthew
