  5.  @saemunduremilsson8106  usually the stunt people are praised or thanked though, in the actor's acceptance speeches. Love Natalie. One of my favorite actresses! I also think Sara should be acknowledged.

  6.  @saemunduremilsson8106  the majority of those scenes they're counting are of Natalie's chest and higher shots.. Natalie's one of my favorite actresses and she deserved this Oscar. It's just odd that the decision was made to minimize the dancing in a movie about Black Swan.

  7.  @saemunduremilsson8106  there are all kinds of stunts and all kinds of body doubles. Some people get killed doing dangerous stunt work. Sometimes a "body double" is just a shot of someone else's butt. Ballet dancing is insanely difficult and demanding. It should have been in the contact of the ballerina that she would be acknowledged. And yes, many people definitely believed Natalie did all the dancing..people who have no clue about the world of ballet. Sound editing gets acknowledged. Mixing gets acknowledged. Lighting..etc, etc. Someone who worked decades to master her craft should be acknowledged too.

  9. Alani, unfortunately there's a severe lack of common sense. It's obvious in some of these comments that many people didn't know there was a double. I adore Natalie and think she deserved her Oscar. Sounds like the ballerina unfortunately had a crappy contract. She deserved to be acknowledged.
