@yennyku5240 most Americans want common sense gun reform. Congress is about to pass it.

@markdavis7233 should the reform go farther? Yes. For example, you can't rent a car til age 25. But you can buy a gun with zero training on your 18th birthday. That age gap is significant. The human brain is literally still developing.

@chrisrodriguez388 I've got conservative friends and relatives. Most realize that no one wants to take away their 2A rights, but put in place some regulations to save lives. In the 80s people bitched when the seat belt laws started, til they saw how many lives were saved. Same thing with other safety measures for cars. Massachusetts has the least amount of gun fatalities in the contiguous US (because of gun regulations). Plenty of people in MA are conservative and hunt. Many collect guns. They just recognize we want safety.

@YouKnowN0thing I agree with you on punishment for breaking the law. Obviously. As someone with a relative who did rescue and recovery for 9/11, I am not discussing conspiracy theories. So let's just respectfully disagree.

@cdollar67 I don't know if you're familiar with it, but in the military, soldiers are trained and supervised. Regulation has always been a part of 2A. I'm not your buddy.
