  3. ​ @johnroberts3824  guess what? Disabled people exist. So do elderly who can't afford to live on the ridiculously low SS they receive.. I know it's hard to fathom, but other people exist who have different circumstances than you...and still need affordable housing and a living wage.

With your logic, I should just say, Oh well, I don't want my tax dollars contributing to services which help anyone but me..just let his house burn with his family in it..do you see how staggeringly selfish that is??

Someone in the comments implied the cost of burgers would go too high if employees were paid a living wage. I simply corrected them by writing that other countries manage to do it. I hope it's clear now for you.
