@carlmorrow1600 anyone would stop breathing from Chauvin and the other 3 cops restricting his breathing for 9 minutes. The pulminologist explained it very well during the trial. Even if drugs were a factor, when someone has trouble breathing they are supposed to be returned to the recovery position. Even Lane the rookie suggested it! That's all they had to do. The prone position is known to be potentially deadly.

Now the other 3 cops must be tried and held accountable for aiding and abetting 2nd degree murder.

@lilianmaher2809 yes, Lane (who was at Floyd's feet) suggested it, and Chauvin said no. Chauvin was the senior officer.

I'm a white woman who is devastated by what happened. I'm glad he got 22.5 years, and I hope he gets more from his pending indictments. Now it's time for the other 3 cops to be held accountable for aiding and abetting.

If you would've payed attention to the trial, it was explained in detail how it's possible to speak, and yet still be unable to inhale enough to get more oxygen.
