Many rollercoasters now have a sample seat before you get in line, and if you are too big or small in the seat, you don't get in line. So tragic and senseless. RIP young man

@lilybond6485 yes, and the ride should be demolished, and the park should pay this young man's family (no money can ever make up for a lost life, but I want the park to be bankrupt.)

Michael Simmons the ride design is horrible. The restraint needs to go in between the rider's legs for proper security. Many thrill rides have a sample seat before the line to the ride, so if a person tries it, and is too small or too big, they aren't allowed on the ride. RIP Young Man 💔🙏

If the person isn't in securely then the ride should not start. Absolutely tragic.

@faa1412 I'm not saying there shouldn't be a weight limit. But it's the park's responsibility to have rides which are safe and operate safely. Most thrill rides have a restraint which goes between the legs, or an additional belt at the waist. Most thrill rides have a sample/test seat outside before the rider gets in line. If the person can't secure the test seat, they don't get in line. Any of what I mentioned would have saved his life.

@faa1412 the investigation is ongoing so everything is still alleged and speculation. But just looking at the seat and "restraint" in many photos, it doesn't look secure enough to me.
