  2.  @hunteralh  I was at the DMV yesterday. One of the office workers came outside to give us instructions, saying it all in Spanish. When I asked what she was saying, because I didn't speak Spanish half the crowd looled at me like I'm the crazy one. Like, I'm glad workers speak Spanish as most people there were Cuban and whatnot. But if you're going to relay instructions at least have an English speaker there too. It's a dang American DMV!

  3. In the beginning, yes. But now Florida is the best state to have little pandemic restrictions. It's the most "back to normal" place to be.

  5.  @Jtfreeze17  Yeah, it irritates me. I love the women and food though, so it balances out. It's mostly the older people who it's a problem with. Most Millennials and Gen-Z speak English. The very few young ones who don't are new to the US but eager to learn or at least very patient to try and communicate as best they can which I appreciate. Like earlier I just had a 30 minute conversation with a young adult with a mix of sign language and Google translate. It was honestly quite wholesome.

  7.  @jbar_85  It's why I moved to Miami. Free from "pandemic paranoia".Far less mask restriction, none of the jobs are closed down due to the pandemic, it's paradise!
