@unc1221 I’m expat military but not in the ignorant way you think. I served back in the mid 70’s for just a 4 year stint, then I worked over 3 decades like a normal person and built a portfolio and wealth, then I retired with zero worries to Vietnam. You sound as though only a government pension can get the job done. Actually only being a boomer with a decent portfolio and decent SS checks does the job It’s detestable listening to all these fools somehow thinking they’ll magically retire to somewhere overseas when they can barely put together and most can’t an unexpected $400 bill today Retirement? Not gonna happen for the majority. Stop kidding yourselves you’ll have the funds necessary to cover your asses in your elderly years.
