@incubus_the_man Actually, I have. I worked fast food, both the kitchen and cashier and I have changed the oil out in a deep fryer. I have also cut grass for a living and general landscaping, painting, hauling trash. If you think fast food work is manual labor, try working on a bricking crew that bricks houses because I have done that before as well.

@SilentCheechGaming1991 that is why McDonalds is replacing it's cashiers with kiosks so customers can enter their own orders. I've also noticed the Walmarts where I live are doing away with cashiers and having everyone do self checkout.

so, someone that cleans toilets for a living deserves to get paid 6 figures?

@austinbyrd4164 thank you

I've never been denied any coverage in over 30 years if something is covered by my policy

Unfortunately, how many people do you know that can afford to pay cash for houses.
1
@whateverrandomnumber I don't know and don't care because I don't live there.
1
@whateverrandomnumber stop being jealous of homeownership and actually take the time to learn about it because when someone buys a home with a mortgage as in common in the US they eventually pay it off in which case there is no more debt. Thus, they are not always in debt as you say.

@ryleynadhir4685 People that can afford to buy numerous houses probably have the money to afford it and are renting the other houses out so the renters are paying the mortgages. Average people don't normally buy a lot of houses but they may buy more than one if they need to move somewhere. Most people I know are in the same house they were 30 or more years ago and it is paid off.

With what I know about universal healthcare, I prefer the US healthcare system
1
Are you an Australian citizen? I find your comment interesting since a simple google search says that In Australia, 15% of all expenditure on health care comes directly from individuals in the form of out‐of‐pocket fees
1
Well I can shop for health insurance and get healthcare anywhere in the US and I absolutely know what my cost is before anything gets done.
1
I'm happy about that
1
that's what health insurance is - a prenotiated price between the insurance company and any healthcare provider that accepts their insurance.
