  1. As it is known what they are using, it's no secret weapon. Now Ukraine knows in which area those things operate. They map out the capabilities of russian air defense. Which just basically means that those systems won't be a problem anymore in the future - as those are able to deter drones. But not missiles. Or other forms of smoking accidents.

  2.  @mrjerzheel  They don't need to know all areas - they just need to know where on the path to their targets. Which path is safe, which path isn't. And what would it take to make that path safe. It's constant reconnaisance upon you act at a later stage.
