  1. I would say the word "Conservative" is meaningless. Both Republicans and Democrats are Authoritarians. Both a Progressive (think technology and science can be used to make society better). Both love big Government. Both to diminish Civil Liberties. Conservative may mean Traditionalist. But, keep this in mind, what's Progressive today, is Tradition tomorrow. So, Traditionalist - is also somewhat meaningless. Conservative can mean Liberal (British: fiscally sound). It's somewhat meaningless.
