  1. Libertarians captured less than 1% of the vote. The Police are militarizing because we have a lot of left over military equipment that needs a home - blame BOTH the Rethuglicans and Democrips as they BOTH supported the Wars.

I've read the exact same thing occurring in CA where a country ran out of money, paid private security, have never had better 'police' protection than with their private police - and this was a dirt poor neighborhood who organized it among themselves. Crime dropped 300% lower with the private police working FOR their customers.
