  1. LOL,... "Facts" are not liberal. They're also not Conservative.  For example: Stanford did a study that found Daycare may be harmful towards children's development. Is this 'Liberal' or is this 'Conservative'? See, in the past most parents raised their children at home, thus, putting children into daycare was a 'liberal' thing to do. The more traditional thing to do, would be to raise children at home, usually by their mother. Of course, now it's more common for people put their children into daycare, therefor the more 'progressive' liberal thing to do, is NOT to.  Liberal and Conservative are nearly meaningless.

  2. silat13 The study found long lasting effects in regards to behavior and personality problems in children who were shoveled into day care.  The government also currently gives vouchers for mothers to put their children into long term day care from 6 WEEKS old. That's 6AM - 7PM for five days a week. A statistically higher percent population of these children develop emotional and behavior problems. Many are put onto anti-depressants. Because anti-depressants cannot be tested double blind on children, these children ARE the test subjects. Children graduate from a childhood (if you want to call it that) of Lord of the Flies Government voucher day supervision centers into 8 - 5 Government schools, where 12 years later 1 in 5 will graduate with a Government diploma and at the same time be functionally illiterate. These are statistical scientific facts. One in every five Government school graduates are functionally illiterate. FACT. Government Teacher's Unions ensure Americans Government Teachers are some of the highest paid with best benefits in the world. FACT. Long-Term Daycare is correlated with long lasting emotional and behavior problems. FACT. Americans children are being diagnosed with these emotional and behavior problems at an ever increasing rate and being prescribed Rx with little to no efficacy. FACT.  The "Progressive" thing a "Liberal" would support would be ending day care, eliminate most anti-depressants and phase out Government schooling. Why? Because not to would be to maintain the statuesque. And that's the "Conservative" position.  Thus, if you support Government schooling, daycare and drugging children with unproven drugs shown to have low or no efficacy, then you're a Conservative by Thom's own definition.  YOU are the conservative. YOU are the one that wants to maintain the statuesque. People like YOU are the problem.

  3. silat13 According to Thom, now that we know Government schools are broken and long term day care is a form of child abuse, the Progressive action a Liberal would support, is making long term day care illegal and privatizing education. To do other wise, would be supporting the statuesque, which would be Conservative.  By Thom's own definition, you cherry picking data to support the statuesque is a Conservative's position. You're essentially a Conservative Traditionalist.

  4. silat13 Scientific evidence shows, conclusively, that placing a 6 week old infant into long term day care from 6 AM - 7 PM for five days a week correlates with long lasting developmental damage and anxiety problems that can be measured years later.  The DoED found 1 in 5 of its Government school graduates are functionally illiterate.  These are scientific facts. The only person lying here is you. You're really no different than any other Conservative. Only your religion is Progressivism. Do us all the favor of never having children.

As for the effects of long term daycare, I've recently published on the one of the primary molecular mechanisms utilized during early stage embryonic brain development. I'm fully aware as to what is known and isn't in terms of brain development. I also am fully aware as to what sorts of questions can be asked and how those conclusions can be interpreted.  You are, by Thom's definition, a Conservative as you support what you've been normalized into thinking is the statuesque. Your in-group just happens to be Progressives. You support the statuesque, even when it's a form of child abuse. As in the case of long term day care which you seem intent on white knighting.  As you've used a slur again, I'm not going to bother with you other than to block you.
