  1. Thom, I live in Australia and I can safely tell you that life here sucks. A crap 2 bedroom apt will cost you $350,000K, we're all working so hard and so long that the State pays mothers to put their children into day care from 6 weeks old, not only that, but if you want to make it to a higher paying middle class job it's almost impossible to do so without having the right connections and attending the right private schools. Life WAS good in AU, then the US Banks came and destroyed life here.
