  2. The Federal Reserve creates currency, not money. The debt is owned to a wide variety of private and public institutions as well as public institutions of other countries. Of the $16 trillion, foreign governments and investors hold 48%. Your income tax, which is just an account of your labor, will be used to pay those investors. And, you WILL PAY, starve or go to prison. YOU are what was sold. YOU are the debt. So get back in your stall little a good little Tax Cattle and keep working.

Sure, if you across the bridge without paying, then you should face some sort of repercussion (not sure about locking another human in a cage for a non-violent crime, that to me is sickening). Do you think it's moral to build a bridge, and make children pay for it? That's what we're doing when we sell 30 year bonds + interest. Which is how most infrastructure is funded. For decades we had a head-start. The same happened for Japan when the European colonization ended. The markets were still open and as Europeans collapsed Japan stepped into those markets and became rich relatively quickly. The common factor is access to markets. NOT WAR. The Federal Reserve creates $85 billion everyone month. $100 billion more just to drop bombs on people in the Middle East (for their freedom of course). I have no problem with YOU, as an adult, buying into a Bond for the building of a bridge (to be paid back through toll over 30 years). That's fair. YOU want it. Right now currency is monopolized by the Central Bank. This means we supposed 'Free' Citizens are not allowed to use our own currency to use as money. SO, that's one issue. A second issue is the use of 'the commons'. I have no problem paying to use the bridge (toll). I have a BIG problem with making someone else pay for my use of the bridge.

  21. Money acts as a store of value, currency does not. That's a HUGE difference. Money is currency + a store of value The US is not a person, ONLY humans can 'Value" things. Printing a currency does NOT "magically" give it value. What gives the USD value is the ability of the US Government to extract payments from the Citizenry. Which is why we have an Income Tax. So that when the Chinese buy US Bonds they can do so knowing YOU and your Children will pay them back + interest of go to jail.

  23. As for protection of the environment, the environment is always better managed with private property rights and the Law. One only need look at the squalor that is public housing to see an example of the mess public maintenance of the commons. Or to government licencing for fraking or regulations to allow chemical dumping. It's why China is so polluted and the people have no legal recourse. Those dumps will be gold mines in the future when plastics are needed and valued.

  24. There's many types of taxes - INCOME taxed are not 'required'. BONDS are not required. INFLATION of the USD to pay back said bonds while decimating the saving class or retired is not required Tolls can be used. The gasoline tax can be used I didn't say anything about trickle down. I'm talking about how communities fund infrastructure and it can and should be done in a manner that reflects the use of that infrastructure. Why should big rigs and small cars pay the SAME when rigs wear roads more?

Hiring 50 million Americans to dig holes and another 50 million to fill them in will reduce unemployment. It will also waste resources, energy, potential and make society poorer. Increasing GDP is only correlated with a healthy economy. Paying people to dig holes and other people to fill them in, counting dirt as output, will show up as an increase in GDP and decease in unemployment.
