The Historical evidence can also be interpreted to go something like this: Poor whites were being outcompeted by poor blacks who were willing to work, longer, harder and for lower pay (much like Asians are today). Blacks were gaining ground, becoming more wealthy, and had a lower divorce rate. Poor whites cried unfair and thus minimum wage laws were passed. Without this competitive edge Blacks lost work. Thus welfare. Thus mother's being paid NOT to be married. Thus the destruction of Blacks.

Thom made a correlation and he didn't give ANY alternate explanations and he didn't even attempt to explain that he could be (and probably is) completely wrong. The fact is the Government PAYS mothers NOT to marry their children's fathers. The facts is racist southern democrats passed minimum wage laws AND this destroyed Black Americans by shifting low paid work to poor whites.

Thanks to "The Great Society" of LBJ, young Black girls are PAID NOT TO BE MARRIED and are more likely to end up in poverty due to the FACT the Government is paying for their children's fathers NOT to be involved in helping the raising of their own children! Ultimately resulting in the destruction of the Black community - which, is literally being poisoned to death by all the Government 'help'.

  4. The State PAYS Blacks to never marry - particularly if they have children. The State passes minimum wage laws that make it harder for Blacks to find and secure employment. As a matter of fact, it was southerner racist democrats that passed minimum wage laws so that poor whites could take the jobs Blacks were working for less money.   5. Are you kidding me? Take two people living under a single roof and split them into two houses ....*gasp* the bills double! It's one of the reasons many people remain together and don't divorce - they can't afford to. That financial strain leads to poverty and eventually the mother will end up on welfare. Take a good look around inner city neighborhoods. They're literally being smothered by poisonous governmental 'services'. Think "Public" Housing... what comes to mind? A dump.

  6. Thom is making a correlation appear are causation. AKA: poverty causes blacks Blacks to divorce. No, it may be Blacks divorce and divorced couples are more likely to live in poverty.
