  4. @RexorCall The way I see it, the only solution is to wait these protests out, even if it means dragging on this pointless violence. The government can’t take action against the protestors, because the world will just scream “Tiananmen 2.0”, basically destroying China’s international image, moreover the government certainly won’t listen to their demands. And the protestors are virtually powerless. So it’s pretty much a stalemate until one side gives in. Sad to see Hong Kong destroying itself, but that’s the way it’s going to be.

He’s competent, he’s smart, he’s willing to do the best for his country, and he is a down to Earth type of guy. Why fix something that ain’t broke?
