@williampan29 In the defense of the parent, they might not have the option to leave their children at home. Perhaps he doesn't have a domestic helper or the mum is out working/protesting so leaving the children at home isn't an option. However what these people have an issue with is when the parents use their children as tools to make their cause look righteous ("Wow, there are children and young people in that protest? They definitely deserve my support!"). Especially when the children in question are too young to form their own critical opinions and simply follow their parents'. Generally don't have a problem with children in protests, but more often than not they do have a tendency of being used.
