If you cannot make a working coalition your policies are the problem learn to find consensus PR is punishing parties as along as they are unwilling to compromise. And only compromise is providing stability.

  6. Germany removed the direct election of the head of government because of Hitler. It helped him into power. People have a tendency to concentrate on personalities not parties or policies when given the choice. Best example America. The right blames Biden but Congress is controlling the policies and budget (ironically the GOP currently there and still blame Biden). And todays social media makes it even easier to manipulate the people into a person see Trump/America again. P.S. Yes I am aware of the Electoral College but it makes things even worse.
